After 3 long, painful months, I FINALLY have my wireless network online, and working on 4 computers and 1 laptop.
It was a complete :swear: but it’s finally done.
And, I managed to outsmart NETGEAR TechSupport, two computer shop owners and the guy that bought the stuff. W00t to me!!
Ok I’m finished now…
Glad you got it working. Tech support people can occasionally be asses. So can salesmen.

Tech Support were fine, except they treat a computer genius like a pc noobie.

hehe, I’ve not had the chance to setup any wireless network yet 
Lol, I was told by a friend that came up to try and fix it - “It’s always something really simple”.
The reason the modem wasn’t working via ethernet, and I feel like a fool saying it, is that the on board network card was disabled, and the wireless card which was still in there was enabled in it’s place.
Enabled the card, connection picked up, wireless worked…
…wow. I challenge your credentials of computer genius being that the problem!
