10/100 base TX

    Can someone tell me if connecting a 10/100 base TX jet direct box to a 10/100 Base T


    or a 10 base T network will be ok or not and why ?

    not sure about this, sine I've not had experience with setting up networks, I will see if I can some info on this!

    I'll have to look at one of my textbooks and see if they give something. I don't recall there being enough of a difference to cause an incopatibility, but it's not a bad idea to ask if you don't know.

    Okay, basically,
    10Base-T is Ethernet
    100Base-TX is Fast Ethernet
    Fast Ethernet is simply a faster ethernet and is compatible. The signaling is the same, so it can be used.
