128 vs 256mb

    i am planning to buy geforce 6600 128mb

    so is there any performance difference between 128 mb and 256

    mb version is there any games that uses 256 mb

    Stuff like FarCry and D00M 3 love more memory on the video card, so yes, the 256MB would be a better buy. On the other hand, if you can get a 6800 for a little bit more than the 256MB 6600/6600GT, then it'd be worth the money.
