    Hi,
I want to upgrade my current memory configuration.

    Current Hardware configuration:
    Motherboard: ASUS M5A-88M
    Processor: AMD Fx-8150 (Black Edition)
    Current RAM: Transcend 2 * 4 GB - DDR3 1333 MHz DIMM CL9
    4 DDR3 slots

As checked the ASUS motherboard: M5A-88M Supports upto 16 GB of RAM. Now I want to upgrade my 8 GB RAM to complete 16 GB.

    - Can I use RAM's of 2 different vendor (viz. Transcend and Kingston) with the same frequency (1333 MHz) ? (Want to switch 2 Kingston b'coz Transcend service in our Area is worst...)
    - Is 8 GB single memory stick supported on the above motherboard ?
    - Also which configuration below is the most suitable:

    - 2 * 4GB Transcend + 1 * 8 GB Kingston
    - 4 * 4GB Transcend

I've never had a problem using mixed vendor RAM configurations. An 8G module does not appear to be supported. You do have dual-channel support on that motherboard so your optimal config would be 4 x 4G modules. Maybe a BIOS update will let you add more later.

Buy another 2 x 4Gb Dual Channel RAM to utilize Dual Channel capability of your Motherboard.
