Press Release Yeah, everyone thought SLI was crazy in the first place, and i guess it still kind of is. As many people still feel that two graphics processors is to many, so i wonder what people will be saying about three. My two cents, i like it, and i hate it. The only downside i can figure with the multiple card thing is coding games to work right, as has been the problem in the past. Games were hit and miss, ether SLI was great or it hurt your performance. Well, hopefully this time around, Nvidia gets it right, granted, you will now not only be buying just two, but three graphics cards if you want to be on top....
I read somewhere that nVidia found Quad-SLI hard to code for, and 3x is much easier. If I run across the link, I should post it.
this is getting stupid, 4 gfx cards, what next 74 CPUs (i know, with quad CPUs we're heading for 74) i miss the simple days when a PC had only 1 gfx card and RAM selection was much easier pwease bring those days back (pointless ask, but, it's worth trying)
really, thats really interesting, kinda weird how one more card makes it that much harder to code for. Hmm, well maybe the continuely growing amount of required video cards will stop at three, which i could probably live with. Thats really interesting though, if you find that link, make sure to post it, i'd really like to read up on that.
