i just got the highest 3dmark05 ever!! My specs are written in my signature below, but here is a link to my 3dmark05 score...with one card!! ive attached the picture to this message...check it out, amazing ! i used normal air cooling. i think the reason why i got this score, was that the actual card i bought performed somewhat signifantly better than a normal 7800gtx, even when playing fear it ran really smooth and i got high frames per second on the fear benchmark test. I must be one of those one in a million lucky guys who recieved an "abnormal" card which perfoms better than normal cards...
That result is HIGHLY unlikely as 7800GTX's in SLI score around 12,000 with an FX-57 CPU, I think there's 2 options here: 1) You're lying through your teeth and Photoshopped it. 2) There was some sort of glitch in the program. Now that may not be the case but 20,000 with a single 7800GTX and an AMD X2 4400+ just can't be possible.
matt, if it was anyone anyone else who answered my message, i would have made complete fun of his disbelief in my score, BUT, because you have answered my threads from before and helped me alot in buying my new system (as you can see in my specs i have it now) i will admitt to you that the score IS fake...but that was fun, wasnt it?

Yea, I mean if you wanted to pretend to break the record you should have made it a tad bit more believable.
I couldn't believe it myself, but I thought I'd see what others said. Crazy score btw. Should have put something like 10k
10k? my real score is 9k, 10k would not be enough to "shatter" the record,what is it anyway with a single gtx?
even if it did get that in 3dmark, doesent mean it would do any better in a game, if his cpu was running at like 4ghz which is impossible anyway with the x2's maybe a score like that would be possible.
I was looking at the pic before I read on... I was just like --- why is the score so much clearer then all the other text? It's been a while since I've checked up on the high scores (like 2 years) so I did'nt know if it was close or not.. I just thought the pic was fake.
