$60 for an Ati?

    Hey, well i just moved to a city and ound a store that sells 512 ram of pc 3200 for 59 bucks so i told my friend back home about it and he said that was really good . anyways i bought 2 of them today and he said that he has an Ati radeon 9500 overclocked or something to a 9700 that is in really good shape and he will trade me for one of my 512's .. what do you guys think? because right now i have a Geforce 4 mx 440 and im playing half life 2 on it and its just criminal to put that on that game, do you think i will be able to experiance the game better with this Ati card ???

    Very much so, a 9500 would make a big difference, and a 9700 would be a lot better. Of course if you still had a gig of ram that would make a big difference but you can't ask for a much better deal than that. Go for it!

    REally sweet, well i do have a gig of ram now i had 512 pc 2700 and today i bought a 512 pc 3200 so now it is a gig???

    right now i just have the gig of ram and im waiting on my vid card in the mail (should next week) so do you think my gaming will better still with this extra ram?

    You'd have 1.5 Gigabytes with all three but you wouldn't notice any real difference with all three of them in so yeah, selling on will be the best way to go about things. You should notice a big difference with you 9700:good:
    Just so you know mixing speeds it's the greatest idea but if it can't be helped it's okay, it will just run all the dimms at the lowest speed usually. So long as you have a gig of most anything you'll be fine.

    Unless your case has really piss-poor airflow, then no, you shouldn't need additional cooling. On the flip side, it's not going to hurt anything by having an extra fan in there.

    this is what i won and i just thought ohhh crap maybe it wont even work in my computer????? Infineon 256 MB PC3200 DDR 400MHZ -New COMPAQ RAM

    yes i had to to pay with a money for this ram, my g/f bought some stuff to from a diff person and that person wants a money order with a blank name on it ?????

    With a blank name on it? Well that doesn't sound too good, not that this comes as any help but stick with PayPal sellers in the future.
