The 6200 isn't so much of a graphics card as it has very very little gaming power compared to the other gpu's you need for todays (and yesterday's) gaming, i'd seriously suggest getting a propper gpu like your suggestion of 7600 Farcry benchmarks 1024 7600GT: 92fps http://www.pctuning.cz/ilustrace2/stefek/X1800GTO/Farcry_1.png 6200: 29fps http://img.clubic.com/photo/00225015.jpg
While I typically don't advise even reading anything, Toms Hardware Guide does have a chart of various graphics cards in multiple games.
Toms hardware isn't the most reliable sourse out there but the vga charts are a nice feature none the less. Tom's Hardware Guide Processors: VGA Charts Either way the 6200 is a last generation low end card that is only meant for basic gaming tasks, mostly multi year old games or running newer things on lower settings. The 7600GT is a upper midrange card that completely destroys the 6200 in everything. No contest, even if the 6200 was like $20 and the 7600GT was $160 I'd still save for the GT, at least it could play new games.
I think u guys are being to hard on the 6200. I have a bfg 6200oc and it gets me through bf2 and quake 4(on high texture quality no aa,no shadows) fine. Although the 7600gt blows it away its still an ok card.
Okay I was pretty harsh but I'm basing at lot of this off those Tom's Hardware tests, maybe I'm too relient on them but even the 7600GT struggles in a lot of them.
