667MHz

    I'm interested, why a notebook memory never goes above 667MHz.

    If cause of heat - can it be overclocked to 800MHz with no problems after that?

    That is really strange to me and pretty interesting... if someone knows why it is so - please reply. :)

    As much as I know, Laptops don't have many overclocking capabilities, or they are even disabled.

    In any way i wouldn't give a try to overclock RAM of your Laptop (or any other component).

    they can go higher but then your using time is decreased btw newer ones use ddr2-800

    why you wanna oc a laptop i did't understand it really they already generate too much heat so oc will boost that up
