I had always thought that all 939 socket boards had a FSB speed of 1000mhz hypertransport(2000MT/s). But i have found 939 socket mobo's that have a FSB speed of 800mhz and even 400/300mhz. Whats up with that. Im guessing that with these lower speed mobo's ur 939 socket processor will not be pushed to its full power.

They also support Semprons (although 939 Semprons are pretty rare), which, if I'm not mistaken, use an 800MHz HTT (there is no FSB with the A64 architecture---includes Semprons based off of it). Also, depending on the chipset used, they can run at speeds slower than a 1GHz HTT...and my guess is that this would be useful for people troubleshooting their system.

300/400MHz...I'm not entirely sure, but my guess is that you could be reading the supported RAM speeds, there's been a typo, or a variation of the HTT info.
