i brought it home, removed drivers, inserted the card in, installed drivers, and all was working well for 12 mins then i lost signal on screen, i shut down and opened my case, to find my card was a bit hot, i moved a card down a bit because it was blocking the fan, let it cool down and started again but the screen was blank, i heard the windows tune begin but the screen was just blank, the light was orange

Try putting your old card back in and see if it works. Might be that you've got a faulty card.

Have you tried the card in another system?

It's possible that the card happened to die. It's pretty rare, but it does happen.

Having a brand new piece of hardware die always sucks, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily your fault. Depending on where you got it, you could simply have to exchange it...but then there's the other side of having to ship it to the video card company for RMA. I suggest dealing with the store you bought it from first, especially if you can drive or walk there.
