    Hello!

After my computer froze up the other day, I could not boot it up anymore.
After testing and retesting different components, I realized that my motherboard has gone caput! I`m trying to buy a new one.

I had eMachines computer on L7VMM2, micro ATX, A socket(462 pin), AMD Athlon pocessor.

In all of the retail stores I`ve been in they say they do not carry A socket mobos anymore, and that I try my luck online.

What mobo should I get , and where?

    Thanx.

Yeah, socket A is dead. Probably the best place to look is eBay. I'd look for Asus A7N8X-VM personally. You'll be hard pressed to find any retailer selling new socket A boards, since its been dead for several years.
