    Abit AG8 & AA8 DuraMaXX review

[H]ard|OCP has Abit's i915P (Grantsdale) motherboard up for review. This is a brand new board with Intel's mainstream chipset and LGA775.

The fact remains that if you are looking to move to an Intel system at this point in time, the AG8 should be on your short list. You will have to of course purchase a PCI-Express graphics card as well to facilitate your upgrade, but should you be ready for a graphics upgrade as well, PCI-Express is obviously the way to go. The decision to stay away from DDR2 on this board will allow a slightly easier upgrade path for some of you currently and as you can see from our benchmark numbers there are not penalties for move this way.

    The review is here.
They added Abit's i925X (Alderwood) AA8 DuraMAXX too.
