Just got this new ABIT AN8 Sli Fatality, and installed it. It comes with the Uguru and all this good shit. Did some researd and saw that this is an awesome board with no problems. Well I do have one now. I just installed it, and started up the comp. When I do the Uguru starts beeping really really bad! and is flasing a Warning symbol and RPM at the same time. One I get to the first screen, "I call it the loading screen" (not sure on the actual term. But it is the screen where it say's what is loaded... I.E. DVD rom loaded, Maxtor200gb loaded, on the very bottom it say's CMOS Error Checksum, I tried reseting CMOS and installing it on the Uguru, and everything... But nothing worked, any help as soon as possible would be greatly apprciated! Thank you.
Well the beep is from the Uguru, it's kind of it's own sound, it's not actually from the Mobo itself. So it's kinda hard to describe, but it sounds like a damn annoying alarm clock, and it drive's me crazy. The bios is the Award Phoniex Bios, I know it need's an upgrade of the bios, but this isn't a problem with the orginal bios, just the temp and clock settings I think according to ABIT. One thing now that has happend since I posted this is... When I start the comp, I got it to go to windows fine, then I installed Uguru utility, once I did the computer shut down because of a safety feature within the utility, but right before it shut down, I noticed that the utility said it is not reading the CPU fan which I am thinking the reason why it killed it in the first place, and the thing that was in RED was the AUX fan, which was at 900RPM which I didn't think is that fast. I can't think for the life of me what is wrong.
