Acer laptop (ACER EME732G) - could it be fine?

Well, I'm up to buy a new laptop. Amongst others I've encountered an Acer one, its hardware very nice comparing to price - Core i3-370, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, ATI HD 5650, 640 GB HD. It's much more than any other laptop offered by that price. But then i saw 1 year warranty vs. traditional 2 years. Plus, I know nothing about Acer laptops.
Can their laptops be trusted, in general?
 
I have an Acer and It works pretty good, But it is a low grade laptop... In my opinion the best is Toshiba, but that is my opinion...
 
I agree with Ghostman. Toshiba is the best it is very reliable and durable. I have been using a Toshiba for 2 years and never encountered a single hardware problem since then.
