Hello guys, I need to install 2nd hardrive to my pc which is very old.
Company policy make me to use this choice rather than external USB drive.
At this time existing IDE cable have 2 hoocs - for CD and Hard drive #1.
Is that possible at all for this pc to support 2 HD + CD by replacing IDE cable? Is there any limitation on how many devices can be supported by single IDE cable?

You can use up to 3 devices on a single IDE cable. Make sure to set the jumpers on the back of each drive correctly. One should be set to Master and the other two should be set to Slave.
