again 24 pin or 20pin psu??

    I am not sure if its correct to post dis thread in this section or in the PSU section.. neways...:)
    i have a MSI mobo with 20 pin connector... i jus wanna knw if i can use my 24 pin PSU to power up the mobo by connecting only the 20 pins on the mobo and jus neglecting the remaining 4 pins?? bcos i found that there r some slight difference in the pin configuration between 20 pin PSU and 24 pin PSU...

    Yes, you can use a 24 pin PSU with a 20 pin motherboard... most 24pin PSU's come with the extra 4 pins as a block that you can slide off from the rest of the block.
