hey are there any of the latest grafic cards tat are comming out in agp? (eg. x1950 in agp?{its jus an example dont know if its out in agp or not}). If so, can some one plz name them? thanks
The latest AGP video cards that are out are the X1950 Pro and the 7800GS. There is also the Gainward Bliss 7800GS which uses the G71 core. The X1950 Pro usually beats the 7800 in most tests and is considerably cheaper than the 7800. The other good thing about the X1950 is it's feature set isn't cut down compared to it's PCIe variant. It is Feature-for-feature.
The X1950 Pro should beat the 7800GS by a long say since my X800XT PE is just as good as the 7800GS AGP
The 7600GT will proberbly be better than a 7800GS aswell as the 7600GT performs just as good as the X800XT pe, but the x800 can slighty beat it in some games, but obviously, the x800xt aint an option, its hard to find, and it dont support SM3.0, so either 7800GS or 7600GT, never knew 7600GT's came out for AGP though. Infact, i think the 7800GS is better than the 7600GT sometimes, its wierd how apprently they both seem to struggle on Oblivion at max settings with AA or AF outdoor though. Also, there is a 7900GS AGP made by Gainward, and it has full 24pixel pipelines. Gainward to intro 512 MB 7900 GT, 7900 GT AGP < Intresting, a 7800GS which is actually a 7900GT
