albatron agp8x to pci express bridge

is this actually any good?

does anywere sell it?

do you think it would be wise to get one of these and stick a x800xt pe in it, then if this would work, i could buy a pci express motherboard and use agp 8x card untill i get pci express.

, just read about it, it only supports the crap ol 6200a low profile by nvidia

 

I'm not sure if it's the same type of temporary solution like some of the pseudo-AGP slots that have been seen before or what. I didn't know these adapters existed, but having it as a low-profile doesn't surprise me. How well they work is a different story.
