Hello, i am running an AMD 2X4800+ CPU I am also running the program, CPU-Z. My core speed should be 2500Mhz, as it is a 2.5Ghz processor. however the core speed keeps flicking between 2500Mhz and 1001Mhz, is there something wrong with my processor?
what is your cpu speed to in the bios? you tried resetting the cmos? incase there is an issue with the system bus controller?
