Amd Xp 2600

    whne i go into my computer it shows my processor as an AMD XP 2200 when it should be an AMD XP 2600, i have checked in BIOS and cant see nothing out of the ordinary, is there any way i can find out why my processor is running slower than it should?

    what speed does it report when you check the properties of "my computer" under windows?

    So the CPU Frequency is set correctly in the bios?

    in my computer it says 2200Mhz, where is it in BIOS that i can see the processor speed?

    I would try to flash BIOS to latest if you can
