My friend is looking for a gaming system as cheap as possible. His probable budget is like 300-350 dollars for the CPU. So, after searching on Ebay i found the following two AMD 3000's XP,.. which one u guys think is better,..
He is willing to do future upgrades as time goes on,.. and he gets more money,..

    System 1:

They're both excellent values, especially the second one if he's willing to take the risk with the whole build to order thing, sometimes those guys don't always follow through. So yeah, I'm for the second one, more for less really, great looking and well built case, keyboard, speakers, and mouse I'm assuming, nice mobo!, bigger hard-drive, it's all good (though ditch the video card it comes with though). If he really want to upgrade in the future though he is sort of sticking his pole in the mud, we're talking about socket A here, the best he can do is a XP 3200 which will barely offer any boost, this socket predates 754 which is all but obsolete unless you're a Sempron man. If I were him I'd see what sort of socket 939 barebone rigs he can find but if you doesn't mind the second link is a tremdous value.

Ah, sorry, sometimes those things are a bit of a give away to pointing out a little dishonesty, so inaccurate pic, and inaccurate clock speed, the XP 3000+ is like 2.0GHz or so, not 3.0GHz. Still his rating is good so it still could be legit.
