Hi to all who read this,
A few weeks ago i was infected with a spyware called AlphaCleaner.
I have erased all the files belonging to it using programs called Hijackthis and Smitrem but i am still getting this annoying message every 10 mins telling me that it could not be erased.
My pc is guarded by PCguard. And the message reads :
"Anti-Spyware failed to delete AlphaCleaner. To learn more, refer to our Spyware Centre"
(by the way i go to the "Spyware Centre" and it tells me that it doesnt have any information on AlphaCleaner - fat load of help thats is!!!)
This message really annoys me as it pops up all the time.
I need to know how to stop this message from popping up as the only solution i have come up with is totally impractical - Turning off automatic spyware protection!!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated
