Well, Windows seems to be at it again for me. After the XP splash screen, onto the desktop, I get the following message: RTHDCPL.EXE - ILLEGAL SYSTEM DLL RELOCATION. The system DLL user 32.dll was relocated in memory. The application (I have no idea which 'application' this refers to ) will not run properely. The relocation occured because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL. Any ideas how to sort this out or get rid of the bloody pop-up warning box? Cheers, David EDIT: It happened on my laptop after a Microsoft update - have now found the patch to sort it out, should anyone experience the problem. The Realtek HD Audio Control Panel may not start, and you receive an error message when you start the computer: "Illegal System DLL Relocation"
