i have an asus a8n sli premium and im having trouble getting any souns from it. ive tried 3 different sets of speakers and headphones, check my drivers, the bios, and the wiring. im at a loss. does anyone have a suggestin ? thanks!
Welcome to HWF RedSpecial Things which you need to check first are... 1. Connection port. (Make sure that you have plugged in proper output port.) 2. Make sure that sound bar for wav and volume is not mute. 3. Check in the device manager if there is any yellow exclamatery sign..? Other Questions 1. Considering that this particular mobo got 8 ch sound, which speaker system you are using with it? 2. Was it working before? 3. If not with the speakers, does it works with the headphones?
Thanks for the welcome, ive checked the output port everythings fine here, the wav and vol isnt muted and there is no exclaimation mark in the device menager. Im using a trust 6 channel speaker setup, the speakers were working as ive tried them with my previous pc. its a new pc ( about 2 days old) and i havent been able to get audio from it from the begining. i did try using headphones but there was no audio through them either. thanks again !
Go to [link=http://support.asus.com.cn/]your Mobo's Manufacturers Website[/link] and download the drivers for your sound from them also update all the other drivers....
