You know what I'm talking about? The feature that blocks images "for your safety" ... and every time one has to click "show content" at the top when it does that. (It's in the new hotmail live or whatever it's called and in yahoo beta.) How do you disable that?? I looked around in hotmail options but couldn't find it...
no idea, but external images (ie links to images not included as attachments) are normally blocked to prevent spammers from knowing that you opened the email they sent (and therefore you use that account regularly). quite often the external image is a single white pixel (and the file name will be a longish number, unique to that email)
Oh. Well it sucks because it keeps blocking blocking content of everything! And most of my emails are actually useful, only a small fraction is spam... It gets annoying clicking "show content" every freaking time =\
I can see how it might get annoying... you should see if there is a feedback link anywhere, try suggesting that they let you white list addresses (add certain addresses into a list that means images are not disabled)
