Anyone have experiences with MSI notebooks?

Since my main PC is not behaving I have been looking at buying a notebook to replace it. Mostly a fantasy for now but I will get a new system sometime in the next 6 months.

I am intereseted in getting an AMD turion, although any AMD will do. The one I'm looking at with the most interest in the MSI 1058.

Anyone have any experiences to share about MSI notebooks? Anyone seen or used this model?
 
I've never heard much about MSI's laptops outside of the fact that they exist. If they're like their motherboards and video cards, it's likely a good unit for the money.
 
I know that a few Averatec notebooks are rebranded MSI models, not sure if other 'name' brands use MSI chassis.
