RightClick MyComputer > Manage > Disk Management,
on the right hand bottom of the window check if there is any unallocated space or smthing like that. Right Click on it and initialise then u will have to format it. If you cannot see what I am talking about then I might be wrong but a screen shot of your Disk Management will be good...

The Partition Table might have gone bad, but its possible that the partitions that have been lost may just not be shown up due to no driver letter been assigned to the selected partition, in disk managment just right click the partition, click change driver letters and paths, but if it aint there, they you will need to use a partition manager such as Partition Magic or Paragon Partition Manager to get the partitions back? is there any important data on the lost partitions?

You could use the Windows CD and just delete the lost partitions there then allocate them in Windows, but you can also Allso allocate the space in the CD where you isntall Windows, dont know about formatting it though.
