Are there any hardware bottlenecks for SSDs?

    I have two questions:

1 - I have heard that certain chipsets will bottleneck a solid state drive's performance is that true?
2 - I would like to raid 0 two solid state drives what are the chances of they failing? I have heard it is less that traditional hard drives. I just don't want my system to die on my in a year or two.

    Thanks!

Well you want to make sure that your motherboard is running SATA II as apposed to I (3gbps as opposed to 1.5gbps)

Although these drives are being pimped as the most reliable I fear it is too early to tell if we are going to start having problems with these down the years. Best be safe than sorry i guess.
