I have to buy few motherboards and monitors.. I am fron India.. I saw websits like newegg.com and legendmicro.com.... My question is are they reliable?? bcos i haven't purchased anything yet.. have any one purchased any thing from those sites?? and is it not risky to reveal the credit card numbers to purchase stuffs from those sites?? this question may see silly.. but money matters!!! .. and do they ship in the products to India if i order any??
well, i'm in UK, so ordering stuff is not a problem, you could start by searching India's google here
newegg is certainly a big one in the states though they dont ship internationally. If you do find one which ships internationally you need to watch out on import tax. In the UK it amounts to about 30% overall ( or at least it has done the few times ive been had by it) Id go with Donkeys suggestion on finding one in India, though im guessing you have searched there first to no avail!? Have you looked at ebay in india?
yeah.... i have checked out ebay... but i can get the same product listed in ebay for lesser price near my place.. so no use.. i felt legendmicro and newegg r offering lesser price ... ummmmm
Newegg is extremely reliable and are recommended, or I wouldn't have dropped as much cash at that place as I have over the years. I have no clue on LegendMicro. But, yeah, Newegg does not ship outside the US, so unless you're visiting the country, understand that you will not be able to use them. I know that both TigerDirect and eWiz do ship internationally, and are probably your best bets next to Newegg.
I do allot of custom pc building and I order most of my parts from Newegg and computergeeks.com .. There are some others as well, but yes you can trust these two sites. Check out ComputerGeeks.com,I think they do ship international.
