    Well, are you? I should be ok...it might be tough running even at 800x600 on ultra LOW quality but Ill do what I have to :chk:

    hehe, you should be fine ninja! having eveything on high quality is only for total geeks :) and who earn loads of money!

    I should be ok, As I got the 9500 @ 9700, bought it from Anti!

    I am and can't stand the wait.

    My store has a great deal on Doom 3:

    When you buy it, you get KOTOR and an audigy LS, all free !

    Plus I have my little Mancubus figurine :p

    did anyone read that article about D3 and performance? i browsed throught it, and the game plays on 640x480(?) reso, low everything on a geforce mx440, and it still looks damn good.

    also, any aliased lines disappear as the reso. increases, so you don't have to chomp down on frame rates with aa, as by increasing the reso, you get the same effect.

    doom 3 will apparantly play on a 1500mhz pentium 3 with a mx440. so anything better, and its all good.

    I initially wasn't going for Doom 3, but, it would be nice to make use of the 9600XT I have. I put some money down @ EB to reserve my copy, and traded in some stuff I don't play (like UT2003).
