either this is a weird problem or i am missing something my build is on an asus p5n-e sli mobo with core2duo e4500 2.2ghz 4gig ocz gold dual channel ram and i could not afford a video card so i pulled one i had in a different machine it is an ati raedon 9500 i belive but it is just a plain pci card my problem is when i power on the system when it posts the lights and fans kick down like they are short on power and then durring the bios and the os splash screen the video flickers on my monitor my pci card acts like it is not pushed in all the way but it cant physicly go any further it almost acts like there is not enough room between the edge of the mobo and the edge of the case. i dont know what the problem is. its a pretty stupid problem to have but it is still a problem.i am out of ideas so could someone help me tell me if im over looking something or if its a mobo problem or what. ohh ya and i dont have a hard drive in the system yet but i dont think that should make a difference. if anyone has any ideas let me know

radeon 9500? on pci-exp board man you are crazy why did you buy a sli board then

anyway are you sure that it is a pci card at first, then if you are sure find another gfx, borrow from your friend, hire etc. and check the bios settings for pci irq options

Okay, are you seeing anything after the Windows logo screen?

Have you tried entering safe mode?
