Not sure where to put this one so feel free to move it...

After spending a week fighting the Striker Extreme, I've got it set up running Vista64 and got the RAID0 working all with the new revision 1303 bios.

The only issue I'm fighting now a 'shut-down' and 'restart' issue.

When I shut down the PC, the system appears to shut down but when I press the start up switch on the case, the HDD light and a quick beep happen but the LCD monitor stays in the amber standby mode (i.e. no signal.). I have to press the reset button on the case for everything to start up correctly.

If I click 'restart' in Vista, the system appears to restart but just hangs there as though it's in some sort of sleep mode. I can't get the keyboard or mouse to fire it all up again. So I have to press the case reset to get it to re-boot properly.

I've come accross S1&S3 in the Bios and also set some of the power options within Vista.

Does anyone have the correct settings in Asus' bios 'Power' section or offer any other advice?

I have seen very similar issues in relation to bad Power Supply Units. Not sure if that is the case here but it is worth looking into.

That's what I was thinking with the 1303 revision I'm using.

I know the case and PSU are fine as they've been tested before. I don't want to flash the BIOS back again for fear of setting off a bomb ;)
