Athlon 64 3500+ VS. Athlon 64 X2 3800+ - how do they compare?

    Athlon 64 3500+ VS. Athlon 64 X2 3800+ - how do they compare?

    I can get the Athlon 64 X2 3800+ processor for a little more money than the Athlon 64 3500+ . X2 means dual core, right?

    Anyone know how they compare to eachother in terms of performance, speed etc. etc. ?

    I'd prefer the X2, still good for gaming but should also handle heavy multitasking better.
