On the Asus AI Booster it says my FSB is 800 and i thought on the 3700+(socket 939 San Diego Core) was supposed to be 1 ghz, with Hyper Transport 2 ghz. In my bios HT is on auto settings should. Should i change the HT setting to 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or leave them at auto. Or should it say 800 FSB and I'm just being stupid. i just built this comp last sunday and Im not exactly a comp expert.

As far as my knowledge goes yes it should be 1Ghz but you can change it to 1Ghz and if it doesnt work or proves unstable just change it back!

Where you said in your first post, change it to 1 if possible!

On the free version of 3d mark 05, i get a 5061. Also is it worth it to buy the full version for 20 bucks because i ve been debating with myself wether or not to do it. 3d Mark is the only benchmark i know of, could you suggest some other ones.

The full version includes a couple of more in-depth benchmarks but i dont know if its WORTH it!
    HotCPU (burn in program),
    SiS Software Sandra and
Aquamark (really cool and REALLY stresses components)
They are the only ones i use/have used and are recommended!
    P.S Good score
