ATI is retarded well, because they made themselves look a whole lot worse than they are. I as well as many others had no idea they had more than one card out. That and the three different versions are all named the same thing, that two of the three look exactly the same. So, i was all thinking ATI took all this time to do really sweet, and then didn't, so i was completely going to phase out my plans of building a DX10 ATI system because it was inferior, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Now that i know what i'm looking for. As well, it seems to have caused as much confusion with me as with many others as well, that and who names three different cards exactly the same. Ok, granted saying they were retarded may have been a little much, but even then, why would you name three different cards the same, and then not tell anyone that they were benchmarking the lowest end card. That would be like Nvidia basing all its benchmarks and what not off the 8800 GTS.
I don't understand their 3 cards anyway... only the lowest is available... BTW does anybody know when the HD2900XTX and HD2900XTX2 are out?
