i understand that using ATI'S 5.9 CATALYST drivers you can enable adaptive antialising, can this also be done with the 5.10 drivers, and other drivers to come such as 5.11?, or would i need to install the 5.9 drivers?
All the Omage and DNA drivers are, are repacks of the original ATi drivers with extra customisations. I use DNA drivers and think they are better than Omega drivers because of more options. Nevertheless, the regular ATi drivers paired with RivaTuner and ATiTool do the same job! DNA Options
oh, also, what exatly does Adaptive Antialising do, becouse i have seen comparisons of the same place with and withought adaptive antialising, and i cant see much difference :\ Does it improve performance?
From the web: Substantially improves visual image quality by enabling supersampling anti-aliasing on transparent textures, and multi-sampling anti-aliasing on all other textures. This delivers exceptional levels of image quality, while maintaining very high levels of performance. (Only Catalyst 5.9 and up and only if supported by hardware)
ok.. well i downloaded these 5.10 drivers from ATI, and as i was installing them, it came ot this red bubly ati setup screen, then said, that these drivers are nto compatible with my graphics card :s, whats the deal with that?
