Hey all, recently finished setting up a RAID 0, though I had to re-install windows.
When I try to play AVI's now, they are always almost black and white. This happened after I installed an Xvid codec pack, a respected Xvid codec pack that I've used in the past (I think its called Koepi's or something). I tried to uninstall it and install other packs, still the same problem. I've tried a system restore, same crap. Not only do my Xvid movies playback in black and white, but so do other AVI's! I really don't want to install windows again! Please help!

I found I have problems with Windows Media Player and XviD / DivX.

Try this media player, it's a lot better in my opinion: VLC media Player.

Remove your video card and reinsert it again....

RightClick on Desktop > Properties > Under Settings tab, make sure that your colour settings is seleted to Max, like 32Bit....

If all else fails then Insert your windows disc and do overwrite on your current windows or install Latest service pack (SP2)....
