i also noticed that it's got integrated grfx - not good

and it's only got a 275W PSU, not many modern PC's will work with less than a decent make 400W PSU or more

Those barebones systems are often just a case, a PSU and a motherboard - in this case it's a Socket 754 Motherboard - they're old and CPU's aren't produced for that socket anymore.

Edit: that's what "barebone" means - no CPU, RAM and grafx

ok i did a few more hours of searching and found these

    this is the barebone system
    Page Computers

    cpu
    Intel Celeron D 351 3.20GHz 256KB Cache 533MHz FSB OEM Socket 775 Processor HH80547RE088CN at TigerDirect.com

ram(i will upgrade to 2g later)
DDR DIMM Memory, 184-pin DDR DIMM Memory, DIMM Memory, Computer Memory DIMM, Memory DIMM 184

if u guys can tell me if the mobo will suport that cpu because at the barebone site they say intel p4 but the celeron is cheaper and has the same bus and socket??

i will searcher later into the cpu/mobo compaiblty

Celerons are P4's with their 'wings clipped' so to speak.

They have lower FSB's and less L2 cache - often they're CPU's which were intended for P4 use but had damaged parts of the cache - they're sold as Celerons as they can shut off the damaged cache and use only the good cache.

o and i just thought of this my sister just got a new computer and it has xp on it, if it has a recovery disk could i use that to install xp on the new system

Well that would mean using 1 XP licence for 2 computers and that's not allowed for standard liscences. You'd have to buy your own XP licence.

What you're wanting to do is illegal and we do not condone it on this forum. I'm afraid I'm not going to discuss that any further.
