Toronto, ON, November 15, 2005: BenQ Canada has announced the FP93G X LCD monitor, measuring 19’’, and featuring an ultra-fast 2 ms gray-to-gray response time, 13mm bezel, and 700:1 contrast.

With what BenQ deems to be the first 2ms GTG response time on the market, the FP93G is ideal for gamers who have high demands for their display. Advanced Motion Accelerator (AMA) technology increases the twisting speed of liquid crystal, thereby shortening the gray-to-gray response time, BenQ explains.

"The FP93G X is a breakthrough monitor that will change the way gamers see, play, and experience the game," commented Jimmy Davlouros, Executive Vice President and General Manager, BenQ Canada Corp. "Once again we are knocking down barriers and forging the path ahead for others to follow. BenQ has created yet another superior piece of technology to help our consumers get the most out of their consumer electronic products."

BenQ’s FP93G X is equipped with both traditional D-sub and next-generation DVI Input support; and offers brightness of 300 cd/m.

The FP93G X will be available in Canada in January 2006, and will retail for approximately $499.
