I just got my refund from my broken HIS X800GTO, and I need to get a new graphics card with it. I have £130, but I'm not sure what the best choice for my money would be... At the moment I'm looking at X1900XT's around that price, or the Nvidia 7900GT/GS Any ideas? (oh yeah, Its gotta be PCI-Express)
The X1900XTs are great cards, I would definately go with one of them over the 7900GT. They provide the best performance from a single card (i.e. not two cards in crossfire or SLi) in oblivion in benchmarks I have seen. If you can afford it, I would go with one of them. Yea deffenitly get the X1900XT, they can be overclocked to X1900XTX speeds, and they beat the 7900GT's. Wow, £160, i remember a couple of months ago i was going to upgrade, X1900XT + mobo, nearly 400 quid, 300 for the X1900XT, no that has gone down to like £220, its amazing how all these top of the range cards go down so quickly
I know its been a while... But I managed to pickup a Radeon X1900XTX for only £170. So I'm pretty darn happy with that Thanks for your help guys
woah i would be, i remember when i got my x800xt pe, i got it for 170 quid, about a 1 and a bit years ago, i was pleased with that then , X1900XT is awsome for that price :good
