    hey guys,

I'm aware this is a forum for building your own pc, but I was wondering if there are any techies out there that could recommend a good laptop for this price range, or one that's close to it with maybe a RAM upgrade?

I'm looking for something that would be able to play some less graphically intense games, like HON or Dragon Age, without lag. Also for school, but I'm assuming word and excel documents are pretty easily handled by something that could play the games.

    Any help is greatly appreciated,

    -Jesse

Hi there JESSE!, i found the best one i could for you, although it is $379.99 (sorry) everything cheaper than that had crappy graphics. but it has DDr3 4GB memory so no need to upgrade and dual core 2.1ghz which should be enough for every usage as well as light gaming.

    Acer Aspire One AO722-0473!

    Pros:
    Windows 7 Home (not Starter)
    Dual Core Processor
    320 GB Hard Drive
    Up-gradable Ram
    Long Battery Life

    Cons:
Epresso Black Finish easily shows fingerprints
Speaker volume not very loud - even at full volume
Some noticeable keyboard flex while typing - although does not effect performance

All in all a great netbook for a good price. Like all netbooks just keep in mind that it is a netbook (limited multi-tasking)and not a miniature laptop. Use it accordingly and I am sure you love it. Buying your first netbook is confusing and a bit overwhelming but it is hard to see where you could go wrong with the ACER AO722.
