Hi all, I have two identical 500-GB hard drives that I would like to convert from a single-drive system in to a RAID 1 array via hardware RAID. I'm running dual boot with Windows XP and Arch Linux, and I have about a dozen partitions. I would prefer to not have to reinstall my OS's or install any drivers, and I don't want to spend more than about $100 on a RAID controller. I can backup my entire hard drive via cloning software and then restore it if need be. All I need is two SATA slots and RAID 1 support. Would anyone like to recommend the best RAID controller for me?
