Blink 182 has some songs who's lyrics still echo through my head from time to time. Their latest self titled album didn't have those songs as much as their previous ones did though.

Other bands / artists I experienced that with also are; Green Day, Raccoon (Dutch band) Bryan Adams (MTV unplugged album) and sadly 1 from James Blunt too.

Some songs have the ability to strike such a similar resemble to how things go in my onw life that I can relate very well to them, in happy and sad times they have a much larger impact on you when you hear such a song for the 1st time.

Morrissey is probably my favourite lyricist. Funny, witty and meaningful. I can relate to his lyrics more then any other artist.

My other personal favourites include Bauhaus, David Bowie, Bloc Party, The Cure, Joy Division and the Pet Shop Boys
