I dont think BIOS is completely getting the boot. Or at least not until POST is totally redundant. POST will still be relied upon by some hardware/firmware, because of this I think UEFI can sit on top of BIOS. Ive got a lot of catching up to do with computers and if I dont hurry up its going to be a right pain in the arse! Its only recently I turned mine back on after a long time of it being in the attic. Intels 1mb cache prescott was just out, and I was all excited about dual ddr! I imagine canterwood M/Bs are cheap as chips now.
