When I boot it stops at Verifying Data Pool and also it says smbus cntrlr NA. I've tested my memory, and multiple hard drives. I'm pretty sure it has been narrowed down to a BIOS problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, If you think the BIOS is causing the error, try resetting the BIOS to its defaults to see if that helps. You can either go into the BIOS to do this, or you can unplug the computer and take out the coin battery and then hold down the power button to discharge the system board for maybe 20-30 seconds. That should reset it. If that doesnt help, you can go to the BIOS manufacturer's website to see if they have an update for your BIOS that you can install. They should have the instructions on how to do this on the website.
I finally got the computer to boot with CD and am trying to repair but it says it cannot copy hidserv.inf. Is there a way to fix that or should I just hit skip and hope it works?
That is a file that allows for the use of shortcut buttons on usb keyboards according to microsoft. As long as that is the only file that doesnt copy over, I think you should be ok. If you start seeing a lot of files not being able to be copied, it may be that your CD has some bad sectors or the HD where it is trying to copy to has some bad sectors.
