Black Friday is the Super Bowl of shopping Wow, crazy. And, yes, kinda pathetic. I never knew before that Americans have such a... "tradition". I think I agree with this bit: "True, many Americans whine and gnash their teeth over Black Friday. They say it’s a disgusting nod to unabashed consumerism, a revolting frenzy that displays the shallowness of our culture." Yep, sounds about right to me after having read about it lol. The article did a nice job of making fun of it, too.
I find that's a good day to stay home. If you work retail, it's a day you're likely to get a lot of good stories to tell at Christmas. I don't think we had any fights this year (for once).
i love black friday. I live in a pretty populated area but no one is ever out and around. So its really cool to see a lot of people, lol, makes it seem like michigan had an economy. That and its a great time of year to mess with as many people as possible
I'm afraid of being bitten by shoppers on Black Friday...which is why I'd rather stay home. Nothing screams 'Christmas' like that black eye and fat lip from fighting over the $10 no-name DVD player.
aahh dude thats so fun though, the best part is when you fight for something expensive and most of the time i don't even want it, so i just end up setting it somewhere or giving it to whomever and people all give you all kinds of crap like its makes a difference. No jokes i love black friday, and i love messing with people, its sweet
Why is it called "Black" Friday?? lol I seriously don't know That's quite a sinister name for a day immediately after the joyous Thanksgiving...
Oh. Alright, well I still think that it's a rather poor choice of a name lol. It sounds doom-ish, like it's a day of death or a cursed day or something...
