Hi! I have this friend whose PS/2 keyboard port is broken. He bought a USB keyboard to use with his PC, but when he gets to the winXP welcome screen, the keyboard wouldn't work, so, naturally he can't logon for the keyboard to be recognized. are there any possibilities to get the keyboard to work before logging into widows? also - the USB keyboard works when he tries to go into the BIOS.
ok, he need to enter the BIOS & navigate to Integrated Peripherals & enable USB Legacy support then exit & save changes, it should work now
