when i boot up my computer, i first have a screen testing memory and showing stuff like ht tec is enabled and dual channel is enabled, that takes about 5 seconds, then i have sata screen, and that takes about 5 seconds, then i have the anoying varifying pool data screen, is there anyway to get rid of that screen, becouse it takes like 1-2 minutes, and eventualy takes me 4 minutes to get into windows, as on the varifying pool data screen there is this updating DHCP or somthing, and its so anoying, i never had it on before when i first got the motherboard.
You can try disabling all the items in the 'startup'. To do this, go Start>>Run>>Type 'msconfig' Click on the Startup tab, and disable everything. This will decreases start up time a little. Restart to finalise the changs, and see if it makes a difference.
Go into your BIOS and compare the settings with the DEFAULT settings in your manual and see if there is anything to do with the HDD or IDE channel that is different. There could be an important setting in there changed. How long have you had the mobo? Alternitavely reset your BIOS to default and see what happens although it sounds like a windows problem.
Well thats wierd that it just happened out of the blue, but yeah try what i said and if it dont help im sorry i got no idea on what it could be.
