I am having a problem with some broken memory retaining clips. They seem to have become brittle and just will not seat the 168 Pin memory module in the slot on the motherboard. Aren't there any places that might sell replacement parts such as this?

    yes, try www.newegg.com

there are lots of shops that sell ram.

how have they become brittle, whats happend to them?
have you tried turning the ram the other way around?
as the ram can only fit in one way.

Honestly, I think that's something you'll have to talk to the motherboard manufacturer about. Memory retention clips aren't generally something that you find for sale. There may be an esoteric website out there that sells this stuff, but that's one thing I haven't seen on the likes of Newegg or eTailers.
